With a focus on quality and comfortable living, the Moevenpick Elephantine Island Resort Aswan offers all the luxury and facilities that contribute to make your stay in Aswan an enjoyable one. This hotel is located on Elephantine Island and is reached by a private boat service.The hotel is totally private with pleasant gardens. The bedrooms have been renovated.The standard is good and all rooms have large balconies.The marble bathrooms are maintained to a good standard. There is a poolside snack bar which serves a variety of food.The main dining room is very large and very tasefully decorated in pale green.Once again the standard of the food is reasonable and all international and local cuisine is available. This hotel offers good service.The 5 minute boat crossing is very pleasant and the drop off point is in the centre of the Aswan Bazaars. Some parts of the hotel are undergoing renovation. The areas under renovation are the swimming pool, restaurant, dining room, lobby, lounge bar, Tower Bar and some of the guest rooms. Work is expected to be completed by October 2007. Minimal inconvenience to guests is expected.
