The Sofitel Karnak is a two-floor Moorish-style holiday hotel situated alongside the River Nile, six kilometres from the centre of Luxor and 35 kilometres from the Valley of the Kings. The entire complex is set in its own carefully tended gardens which stretch back a fair way and enclose a swimming pool as well as ornamental fountains and paved walkways.
