Discover in this historic environment an old residence in the pure Fez tradition. The palace owned by a notable family of Fez has been completely restored and reorganized as guest house by its current owner, Hadj Omar Lebbar, the founder's grandson, and by his wife Nadia. In memory of the ladies who lived in the palace and thanks to whom it got its particular style, the Lebbar family safeguarded in every room and in every suite, which are all named after their former occupant, the authentic personal atmosphere of the old times. In all the rooms and suites the fully equipped bathroom decorated in the style of a traditional hammam occupies the main place. You will relax there, covering your body with entrancing lotions and perfumes and letting yourself go with the oriental art of living. The finely decorated rooms and the suites open up to the famous restaurant DAR EL TAJINE in the central courtyard. Following the family's cooking tradition, the restaurant personnaly kept by Mrs. Nadia Lebbar offers one of the most exquisite tables. You will appreciate not only the well known dishes of the cooking art of Fez, but also the delicious home cooking prepared under the watchful eye of the housewife. She and her husband receive their guests with the special refinement which is at the heart of the hospitality for which the Moroccans are particularly renowned. The attentive and devoted waiters will do everything to make you feel comfortable and to fulfill your wishes. You will enjoy tasting our delicious meals on the terrace with a wonderful view on the entire medina, in the courtyard where you will find a more relaxing atmosphere, in one of the dining rooms El Yacout, Fatah Zohor or El Anber or in your own room for a dinner for two. All our suites and rooms are equipped with a telephone, a socket to plug in your computer and a TV set (on request). You can send and receive your faxes from our office.
In the muffled atmosphere of our library you can gather information about Moroccan history and geography, study the classical Arab, Western literature or read newspapers, magazines and also log on the internet thrue the computer.
You wish to relax and take care of your body ? We will organize for you a hammam hour (Moroccan Bath) in the traditional way with massage, manicure, pedicure and an appointment with the hairdresser.
