Hotel Description
Here' in this sunlit kingdom just a. few minutes from the center of marrakesh, in the peace and tranquility of a country village, is the caravan serai. logatedn.ot far from the paysan palace, this 'hotel comprising 5 rooms and 12 suites of which 2 have private swimming.
Pools, has been designed in, the style of a dar or traditional arab dwelling, around a light-filled central patio with sunnx trees and lambent flowers.
Each room is individually decorated, each with its own unique charm. There are many outdoqr sitting rooms around the large heat'ed swimming pool set in a bewitching garden that invites all who fall under its spell to rest and relax. Evenings are magical - the
Gardens become a fairyland of glimmering light from myriadlantierns, inviting guests to while away their time at the bar, or around the large open fireplace, or perhaps in the restaurant where you can sample truly authentic moroccan cuistne including long-forgotten traditional dishes. To stay at the caravan serai is to experience a welcome and a sense of well being like no other.
Luxury Hotel Accommodation
At Caravanserai, space means privacy. The six de luxe rooms are capacious enough, the eleven suites - especially the two with their own private pools - as generous as you could wish for. Most have their own terrace; others are interconnected for the benefit of families. Bathrooms feature enormous tubs fashioned out of 'tadlakt'. Decoration is meaningfully restrained, featuring outsized amphorae, cosy in-room hearths, rafia pouffes and tall, time-beaten doors. There is a traditional hammam with heated pool for a long steam and relaxing massage, a bar and patio-style restaurant serving an eclectic mix of Moroccan staples (tagine, couscous, village-baked breads for breakfast) as well as lighter, European options (a club sandwich, pasta, delicious salads). Staff are at your beck and call and rooms have central heating to keep you cosseted. The feel is easy, slow-paced, unerringly comfortable, a place to forget about formalities.
