Hotel Description
General Description
This full service hotel has every amenity imaginable from fine dining at The "Dar Ennasim" Restaurant to rest and relaxtion at the luxurious Hammam. As a visitor you will also enjoy access to many interesting stores, galleries and restaurants within steps of the Hotel.
There are vast terrace or balcony suites overlooking the sunny courtyard. In addition to the stylish dining and bar facilities, there is 24 hour room service. Le Pavillon du Golf is perfectly located on the heart of the Palm-grove and forms part of the golf course.
Art galleries, restaurants and exceptional shops are nearby.... the guest will be in the heart of one of the most lively parts of the city. The very name Marrakech conjures up images of an exotic, distant city, of hot desert winds blowing in from the Sahara, of magic carpets and snake charmers and of spices and perfumes brought in by camel trains.
Set within the rose-coloured walls of the medina lies a reality that is not that far removed a labyrinth of winding streets that open onto lush green gardens and dark alleyways leading to bustling souks. The focal point is the central square, the Jemaa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering place and the social centre of the city that at dusk offers a scene little changed since medieval times.
And towering over all this is the Koutoubia mosque, the tallest building in the city, and a reminder of the importance of Islam to the lives of the city's residents. Today, the main focus of the city continues to be the Jemaa-el-Fna, which comes to life after dark and is and a riot of enticing colour, noise and smells, with dancers, fire-eaters, acrobats, snake charmers and fortune-tellers.
Rows of trestle tables are set up every evening to serve up barbecued kebabs, boiled snails, mouthwatering tajines and an array of more or less appetising other foodstuffs. Around this vast open space stretch the shadowy alleyways of the souks; a vast marketplace selling herbs and potions, carpets and candles, jewellery, spices, meat and metalwork. Le Pavillon offers an outdioor swimming pool with magnificent view over the lake and the 18 hole golf course. All rooms are decorated in exotic style and equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

Transportation
From Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK):
Distance to Le Pavillon du Golf is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Two types of taxi are available at the airport: shared taxis (Grands Taxis) can seat six people, and private cabs (Petits Taxis) for up to three passengers. The fare to the city centre should be approximately 50-60 MAD, and should be agreed in advance. The number 11 bus runs every 20-30 minutes to Djemma El Fnaa square, in the city centre. Services can be unreliable. The fare for a single journey is about 3 MAD. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Marrakech city centre is best explored by foot, as cars are unable to reach many of the narrow lanes in the Medina. Sand-coloured Petits Taxis can be used for short trips, and Grand Taxis are ideal for trips further afield. Horse-drawn carriages are a good way to travel around Marrakech, but the price should be agreed before travelling. Buses are regular and inexpensive, but can be overcrowded.
