The Essentials
You'll stay in part of our Victorian country house or one of the adjoining courtyard cottages. All are Listed Historic Buildings situated right here on the edge of the world famous Ilkley Moor.
We are in a rural setting but not in the middle of nowhere - there's a huge amount to see and do! Skipton, Harrogate, York, Leeds, Bronte Country and the heart of the Dales are all to hand.
Ilkley itself is an upmarket spa town just a few minutes stroll down the hill.
We have just four cottages - ideal for families, and three apartments - ideal for singles and couples, so you'll not be part of a large impersonal holiday complex.
Our cottages are very child friendly (we have a young family ourselves) and there's plenty to keep them occupied.
Our apartments are very private and self-contained and are ideal for quiet leisure or business stays.
Weekend houseparties are very popular in our largest cottage which sleeps up to 9 and has an M2 mobility access award.
You'll have use of the large gardens and children's play area plus private leisure facilities that include workout room, spa, sauna and solarium.

We now have three luxury self-catering apartments on the top floor of Westwood Lodge. There are two one-bedroom units and one with two-bedrooms all fitted out to a very high standard throughout (5 star Self-Catering), with dishwashers, freezers, telephone, video, CD player and all mod cons.

Individually designed and furnished, they all enjoy fabulous views - be it onto Ilkley Moor or over Wharfedale. Each is named - The Moorview, The Wells and The Glenmoor and aimed at professional singles and couples looking for high standards, home from home comfort and privacy - be it for a short break, week's holiday or longer business secondment.


THE WELLS APARTMENT


Sleeps 2 in one double bedroom with 4-poster bed

This is our smallest apartment, but has a very comfortable, cosy feel, ideal for 2. There is a lounge with dining area and a separate kitchen, both with excellent views over Wharfedale. There is a colour TV, video, CD, stereo, dishwasher, microwave and direct telephone line (outgoing calls costs extra).

The bedroom has a four poster double bed and en-suite bathroom, with a south-facing aspect onto Ilkley Moor.

THE MOORVIEW APARTMENT


Sleeps 2 in one double bedroom with super king-size bed or twin

This is a good-sized comfortable apartment for two.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed that can be made-up as a twin. There is a separate bathroom, lounge with dining area and a separate kitchen. There is a colour TV, video, CD, stereo, dishwasher, microwave and direct telephone line (outgoing calls costs extra).

The bedroom and lounge have south-facing aspects onto Ilkley Moor, whilst the kitchen is "in the tower" and has views over Ilkley and Wharfedale.

THE GLENMOOR APARTMENT

This apartment has two double bedrooms, both en-suite and with outstanding views over Ilkley and Wharfedale. The open-plan lounge has a dining and kitchen area. There is a colour TV, video, CD, stereo, dishwasher, microwave and direct telephone line (outgoing calls costs extra).

All of the apartments are all fully centrally heated with individually controlled thermostats. Each has modern electric showers, rather than baths. No pets (other than working dogs) are allowed in the apartments. Due to the stairs and opening windows, the apartments are not suitable for young children. If you would like to bring young children or your dog, please look at our cottage page. For babies not yet crawling, we can provide a cot and high chair free of charge in the apartments.
