Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is Europe’s most exciting new resort.

The Rocco Forte Collection’s Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is located on the south coast of Sicily between the Temple Valley in Agrigento and the seaside town of Sciacca. The resort fuses strong, modernist, environmentally-sensitive architecture with design that is simultaneously luxurious, firmly rooted in Sicilian culture and inspired by the spectacular Mediterranean setting.

Olga Polizzi, as Director of Design for The Rocco Forte Collection, and the renowned Italian architect, Flavio Albanese combine true luxury with local materials, Mediterranean colours and the geometrically square lines that are to be found in simple dwellings all over Sicily

The resort, set over 230 hectares of stunning landscape with 1.8 km of Mediterranean coastline, has 203 rooms and suites characterised by luxurious space, intelligent design, comfort and privacy.

All rooms, at least 40 square metres, have private terraces and sea views and offer the very latest facilities.

Housed in pavilions grouped around an open-air courtyard, the 4000 sq m Verdura Spa has 11 treatment rooms, 4 thalassotherapy pools, an indoor pool, a double–height hammam, sauna, relaxation areas and a 170 sq m fully equipped gym. The Spa Bar serves healthy juices and light meals.



Verdura Golf Courses

Kyle Phillips has created two exciting 18-hole championship courses and a nine-hole course which make Verdura a new world-class golf destination. Practice facilities are as excellent as the courses and include a double-ended driving range, 3 chipping and putting greens and 3 bunkers. The Clubhouse includes a Golf Shop which sells equipment and clothing from luxury golf brands; a restaurant, a bar and a Gelateria.



Verdura Conference Centre

The Conference centre accommodates up to 1,000 people. It includes 10 meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology and with natural daylight; a 1000 sq m open-air amphitheatre for screenings and live shows.

The resort offers 4 restaurants, private in-room dining, 5 stylish bars for drinks and cocktails and a Gelateria, each one in an exquisite setting with outdoor terraces and views over the sea or hills.

It is an hour and a half's drive from the international airports in Palermo or Trapani and 30 km from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. The resort is a 3 hour drive from Catania international airport.
