Kongsvold Fjeldstue can provide 74 beds in all, spread on single-, double- and family rooms. Fantstua and Vinjestua are often found particularly comfortable. These rooms leave the comforts of a 'house' for families or couples, whilst still enabling access to drawing-rooms, Kongsvold Kro and the dining room. Margrethe, Queen of Denmark, has a room of her own here in the same way Prince Eugene used to have, and Sonja, the Queen of Norway. Several people have met each other for the first time at Kongsvold. Not two rooms are the same, every one with the individual charm of houses dating back to 1720.
