Superior River Wing Rooms
Surround yourself in genuine teak and traditional Thai silks in these elegant rooms with an uninterrupted view of the river. Fresh fruit and flowers will be delivered to your room daily. And if there's anything else you require, your personal butler is always at your service.
Deluxe River Wing Rooms
Light and airy, these newly renovated rooms have floor to ceiling windows and a balcony with a partial river view. For added comfort there's a spacious seating area, upholstered in a neutral blend of the finest Thai silks.
Garden Wing Rooms
A colonial style room with a novel floor plan. Some have two levels, with the bedroom above and a plush seating area below. Touches of old grandeur, like chandeliers and parquet floors are blended with new style armoires and ottomans. Some rooms enjoy full or partial river views.

Located in the River Wing, these elegant and spacious suites face North and have impressive River views. They feature one bedroom and a separate sitting room with a large working area. For more than a century, some of the greatest names in literature have sought escape and inspiration at The Oriental, Bangkok. In their honour, ten of our most illustrious suites have been designed to reflect the personality and achievements of these literary titans.
Located in the River Wing, they boast magnificent river views. Each has a balcony and full length, floor to ceiling windows throughout. There's a spacious sitting room too, a large bathroom with separate bathtub and walk-in shower as well as a powder room off the living room; many have a walk-in closet.

Situated in the original Oriental Hotel building, The Authors' Wing celebrates some of the great writers who have stayed here over the last century. All have lavish bedrooms and lounge areas, dressing rooms and Victorian style bathrooms.
The Siam Suite
A two bedroom suite with a Northern Thai atmosphere. Drapes and furnishings are sumptuous, and the foyer, living and dining areas are panelled in teak, like the flooring underfoot. Dark timber and gilt furnishings do nothing to detract from the spacious elegance of the suite, and the Northern artworks are the finishing touch that gives it such a unique character.
The Selandia Suite
This suite evokes the charms of a life aboard ship, with its teak floors and walls, navy striped cotton draperies and brass cornered tables. It is classically but richly decorated, and the Master bedroom alone is complete with gold leaf, crystal and silver. The nautical theme is continued throughout, right down to the photographs, engravings and maps that take pride of place on the walls.
