Originally a 180-acre coconut plantation, fronted by a kilometer long white sandy beach, situated on the rural south-west coast of Mahe Island,at Valmer, Baie Lazare; the
village named after the famous explorer, Lazare Picault, who is reputed to have landed here on his first Voyage of discovery to the Seychelles in 1742.

The hotel offers 200 luxurious rooms and suites situated alongside the coconut groves at the white shores of the Indian Ocean, facing the sea or the fresh water lagoon.
Each room or suite has a balcony or terrace and largeplate glass windows which offer the guest a beautiful view outside. Rooms are so spacious that they resemble a suite, having each an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, dressing area, hair dryer, minibar and air-conditioning. Of course each room or suite has a direct dialing telephone, TV and video as well as radio with in-house music channels.
