PINGODA GEDERA
The name denotes the ancestral home of Hettigoda Group Chairman's Father and Grandfather. The walls, both interior and exterior as well as the floor, are entirely made of mole-hill clay impregnated with the juice of crushed leaves of Margosa (Azadirachtaindica) Kumbuk (Terminalia arjvna) Kurundu (Cinnamonium Zeylanicum) and Domba. This symbolises the hygenic constructional methods that were adopted during the ancient times to ensure a close liaison with nature. This Deluxe Chalet gives a direct view of the Indian Ocean.

GAMMALU SEVANA
consisting of 2 Storeys. The ground-floor of this Chalet is laid with Terra-Cotta flooring while the upper floor has been panelled with Gam-Malu timber. This is a tree that grows in dense jungles to a girth of about two to three feet, yeilding a blood-red colour gum. Its cream is a cure for Diabetes
