Moy House was originally built in the mid 18th Century as home to Sir Augustine Fitzgerald. In its majestic splendour, the house prevails over the breathtaking Lahinch Bay, set on 15 acres of grounds adorned by mature woodland and a picturesque river.
Major restoration has transformed this Country House in keeping with present day expectations of superior standards, yet preserving its unique character, style and ambience.

Meals:
A full extensive breakfast and dinner menu is provided each day. Breakfast at Moy House will certainly fortify you. Breakfast is served from 7.30am-10.30am or by arrangement.

Dinner is provided for guests of the house, and our menu is made up each day by Sheila, our chef, using ingredients which are locally produced. Dinner is served from 7.00pm-8.30pm.

Our Kitchen is open for guests to use at their leisure in true home style.

Golfing:
Golfing is synonymous with Lahinch and the golf course here is considered as the "St Andrew's" of Ireland. Tee times can be arranged on request by calling the following numbers.

The new Greg Norman designed golf links at Doonbeg, 25 minutes away is due to open in Spring 2002.

Cycling:
The house has two bikes which can be used at any time, subject to availablity.

Walking:
There are many coastline or inland walks. Maps and appropriate "wellies" and mac's are also available.

Swimming:
Moy House is located just above it's own beach and Lahinch Strand is only one mile away. Seaworld in Lahinch has also a 25 metre pool, sauna and Jacuzzi.
