Hotel Description
On the Ring of Kerry, in award winning gardens, you will find Caragh Lodge. A Country House renowned for it's warm hospitality and gourmet food. This hotel is the ideal centre for golf, walking, fishing and touring holidays. A mid Victorian house, Caragh Lodge was originally built as a fishing lodge and is on the shores of Caragh Lake, looking towards the McGillicuddy Reeks (Ireland's highest mountain).
In addition to Salmon and Trout fishing, in the summer, the lake is ideal for boating. Being no more than a short drive from Ballybunion (1½ hrs), Waterville (45 mins), Killarney (30 mins), Beaufort (20 mins) and Tralee (45 mins), and only 10 minutes from Dooks Golf Club, Caragh Lodge is the ideal centre for golfing holidays. Horse-riding and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches are within a 10 minute drive.
