On a quiet street one block from the River Tiber, the contemporary Hotel dei Mellini is housed behind a pristine 18th century neoclassical fa�ade, formerly two apartment buildings. The 80 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in soft neutral shades of taupe and brown with heavy striped drapes, cream upholstery, coordinating patterned bedspreads, and cherry wood furniture. All have minibars, safes, direct-dial phones, high-speed Internet connections (surcharge), slippers, and satellite television with pay movies. Marble bathrooms include telephones, bidets, bathrobes, and Etro designer toiletries.
Guests can enjoy drinks and snacks on the sunny roof terrace with its canvas awnings, potted lemon trees, climbing greenery and flowering planters.
