The fifteenth century Zorzi-Liassìdi building is an elegant example of Venetian gothic architecture which was built on the foundations of a previous medieval structure. Its facade is dominated by a splendid mullioned window with six lights framed in decorations and inserted between two couples of windows. The balconies of the first floor have some overturned columns and for this reason this building is also known as The Zorzi Building with the crooked columns.

Each of the 26 rooms of this splendid Venetian hotel has its own personality, thanks to the extremely functional use of space and the unusual combination of materials: light coloured oak combined with the gold of the carved head-boards, the dark tones of the national walnut with the warm colours of the fabrics.
The soft and elegant lines of this furniture blends into the contemporary forms of the glazed metal frames and the brass and glass tables.
