Behind every coat of arms there is something to remember, that of the Kraft family tells my personal story. In 1883, Gerardo Bernardo Kraft, progenitor of a family of Swiss hoteliers, settled down in Florence. He then acquired the Hotel de la Ville and the Hotel de la Paix, which are known as the Grand Hotel and Hotel Excelsior.

Gerardo Bernardo was my great-great grand father.

Free accomodation is offered to children under the age of three. So as to make you feel at home we also speak English and French. Small and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
We also provide a free bus service to and from the centre of Florence.

A countryside with the characteristics of a work of art, a natural amphitheatre where architecture and landscape perfectly fuse together: this is the enchanting scene which we behold in the hills of Pian dei Giullari. From here our villa overlooks Florence and opens its doors to all of those who wish to spend a holiday in a complete relaxtion only a few kilometres from the historical centre of town.

The sandstone staircase leads to the five double rooms which are all beautifully furnished, with extreme attention having been given to every detail:
the Newly-weds' Bedroom (la Camera degli sposi);
the Bedroom of the little Balcony (la Camera del Terrazzino);
the Bedroom of the flowers (la Camera dei Fiori);
the Four-poster Bedroom (La Camera dei Baldacchini);
and The Grand - parents' Bedroom (la Camera dei Nonni).
