Palazzo Grande is an old stately home that has been transformed into a period residence of 19 ample-sized rooms and suites, elegantly furnished and decorated, with all modern comforts, where our guests can enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of a gentleman’s residence, surrounded by frescoes and the original décor. 



Palazzo Grande, a historical residence right in the heart of Umbria, allows you to re-live the enchantment of the past times, to taste the flavours of Umbria’s traditional delicacies and to enjoy a peaceful stay in the midst of its surrounding park.

Each room is different from the others; they are all ample-sized, painted in pastel colours that harmonize perfectly with the rich shades of the textiles, fitted out with period furniture, pictures and objects that all belong to the home’s history. The up-to-date comforts (air conditioning, direct telephone line, Internet connexion, satellite TV, minibar, safe, soft extra-pillows, sanitary and anti-mite protection of beds) complement the elegance and sobriety of the rooms. Each bathroom is provided with a hydro-massage bathtub, a shower, a hairdryer and bathroom scales. Each room is named after a person who is linked with the Palazzo’s memory, either someone who once belonged to the family of the earlier landlords, or a special guest.

The Palazzo is in the middle of an estate of more than 30 hectares: the vast enclosed park which surrounds the villa hosts a swimming-pool is the ideal place to relax in the midst of the calm of the countryside.

Special attention is paid to breakfast, which is served in the large dining room decorated with frescoes: each delicacy is carefully chosen and prepared, with a particular regard to the wishes of every single guest.

Inside the building, there is a still consecrated chapel, with an exquisite Gothic revival altar made of polychrome woods.

A five-a-side football field, jogging paths in the woods and a gym inside the residence allow our guests to stay in shape.

In a few minutes by car it is possible to reach 3 golf-courses of international level; there is also a large riding-school quite close to the estate.

A shuttle minibus and a private car are available on request to reach Perugia, the railway station and the airport.

The Palazzo is built in a way to eliminate any architectural feature barring advance to the handicapped, both in the rooms and in the common spaces.

Several arrangements with Guides and Associations allow our guests to make sport and cultural trips, as well as to participate to many cultural events that take place in Umbria all the year round, like Umbria Jazz, the Two Worlds’ Festival in Spoleto, the Music Festival “Sagra Musicale Umbra”, Eurochocolate, the “Gaite” (medieval) market in Bevagna, the Joust of “Quintana” in Foligno, etc.
