This delightful 7-room auberge deluxe is located in the heart of colonial Merida. An oasis of urban tranquility, the original buildings date back to a 19th century nobleman's estate that have been recently restored and embellished with modern touches to combine the best of five star hotel luxury with the timeless grace of the palatial haciendas of the Yucatan.
Built around a central courtyard and huge gardens, much of the original structure has been retained: the arched verandas, high-beamed ceilings, enormous wooden doors and cool floor tiles. Walls coated in hues of deep red, sky blue and ochre add to the hotel's contemporary character.
The Villa is blessed with a friendly Canadian/Mexican management team who create a relaxed atmosphere in spite of the grand surroundings. There are just 7 guest rooms, all different, making it feel more like a private home than a hotel.

The dark hues of these suites reflect the coolness and tranquility of colonial living. The sitting area allows for courtyard fountain and garden views from the comfort of your room.
Courtyard Kings (2)
These canopied bedrooms share the terrace and accompanying views of the courtyard fountain and garden. With the King's you have a choice of a suite with dark hues and the ambience of the Courtyard Suite or a suite with brighter, contemporary Mexican tones and its own sitting area in the courtyard fountain garden.
Garden Suite (1)
This is a slightly smaller suite bathed in natural light with more contemporary tones and a wrought iron bed as well as a plant-secluded terrace with an exterior daybed, rocker, and table overlooking the pool and gardens.
Garden Balcony Suites (2)
This suite offers a spectacular view of the pool and gardens 8 meters below. This grand upper terrace has traditional outdoor furnishings and plants and incorporates the delightful sights and sounds of the surrounding Yucatecan urban neighborhood. The semi-private terrace gives access to two of our finest and slightly more contemporary suites: 1 housing two wrought-iron queen canopy beds and the other 1 king bed.
