Designed in honour of the imaginary biblical palace of the Queen of Sheba, the Hilton Eilat Queen of Sheba is a grand modern resort hotel decorated with motifs of towers, domes, arches, pillars and mosaics, set on a private, sandy beach next to a large shopping mall. This 12-floor hotel features 479 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, minibars, safes and satellite television with pay movies and video games.
Dining options at the hotel include Yakimono, which serves traditional Japanese dishes including sushi and sashimi on the top floor of the hotel, overlooking the Red Sea. Makeda serves an array of Mediterranean salads, mezze, antipasti and desserts from the buffet, while grilled meats are served in the Buffalo Steak House. Open every day, guests can rejuvenate in the Cybex Spa, which is equipped with a gym, jetted tub and wet and dry sauna. There are four swimming pools, one of which is surrounded by sculpted dolphins and tigers and has an adjacent covered pool for children. Kids can also join in the fun at the Paradise Club which has special Sony PlayStation 2 rooms, equipped with simulators and 3D effects. Transportation
A courtesy bus connects the airport with the hotel during high season. For the rest of the year, the hotel can arrange transport for a surcharge. Taxis are available and cost around 3 USD. Bus no.15 leaves the central bus station every 20 minutes for the Marine Observatory and Coral Beach and further to Taba. A boat runs from the bridge on the Marine to the Marine Observatory three times daily.
Driving directions: From the airport head south. At the first roundabout turn left. Take the third street to the right, then right again towards the seaside hotels area.
