Location. The Chedi Muscat is located in Al Ghubra in the Sultanate of Oman, on the Boushar Beach, 12 kilometres from Muscat Airport and 20 kilometres from Muscat city centre.
Hotel Features. Surrounded by a backdrop of deserts, mountains, and beaches, the Chedi Muscat is an exclusive five-star beach resort featuring stylish furnishings and vibrant hues, traditional in Omani architecture. This exotic Arabian hotel offers guests access to two swimming pools bordered by cabanas, a water garden, and a private sandy beach.
A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served from four show kitchens at The Restaurant, adjacent to the lobby lounge and offering an outdoor courtyard with views of the beach. Lunch and dinner are also served at the two cabanas located next to the pools or on the beach. For finer dining, dinner is available at the Arabian Courtyard.
Complimentary wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel and meeting rooms are offered on site. A library with complimentary tea, cocktails, and canapés is also featured for executive guests.
The outdoor pool next to the beach is reserved exclusively for adults, and the Serai pool, in the gardens, is available for families with children. Two flood-lit tennis courts are at the front of the hotel, and behind the tennis courts, the spa offers seven treatment rooms with four sunken baths. Signature therapies include Purifying Envelopments, Reviving Body Polish, and the Chedi Massage.

A number of white Arabian style buildings; one would not realise it is a hotel as it fits in so pleasantly with its surroundings. Please note that there is no air conditioned route from building to building so it can get a little bit hot in summer!

From Muscat Seeb Airport (MCT):
Distance to the Chedi Muscat is 12 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Hiring a car or a taxi is the best way to reach the Chedi Muscat. The hotel can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Alternatively, minibuses run from the highway just outside the airport to the business centre of Muscat every 10 minutes. Cost is about 300 FILS (1 USD). Price is subject to change.
Getting around. The area around the hotel can be easily explored on foot. There are two good bus lines operating in Muscat and the surrounding region. The Baiza bus can go just about anywhere, and is relatively inexpensive, although there is no air conditioning and timeliness can be an issue. The other bus line operates red and green buses. These buses are more expensive and limited to main roads. Taxis are available and are run on a negotiable rate system. Visitors should ensure the rate is set prior to departure. Hiring a car is advised for exploring the countryside.
