Location. Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Jumeirah beach, 500 metres from the Dubai Marina, 10 kilometres from shopping at the Mall of the Emirates, and 35 kilometres from the Gold Souk, Dubai's gold market.
Hotel Features. The hotel is housed in a modern white building overlooking the sea, and set amid landscaped gardens. The lobby has marble floors and a lounge area with plush red sofas and cushions. The resort has a private beach and a swimming pool complex surrounded by patio furniture and palm trees. The Roman-themed spa, Caracalla, has saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and Hamman pools. Aromatherapy and beauty and massage treatments are also available, and the gymnasium and aerobics centre overlooks the gardens.
Le Royal Meridien has 12 restaurants with menus including Thai and Italian cuisine, as well as steak and seafood dishes. Al Khaima restaurant offers Arabic grills, sheesha, and beach dining, while Mexican restaurant Maya has a rooftop bar serving cocktails. Al Murjan serves tea, coffee, and cakes. Many of the restaurants offer live entertainment and the resort also has a poolside bar.
The hotel has a business centre, and conference and meeting rooms. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Distance to Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai is 35 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Pre-paid taxis can be hailed at the Terminal 1 Arrivals hall, and the fare to the hotel is approximately 100 AED. Limousines can also be hired in the arrivals hall and buses run to the city centre every 10 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Bus stations are located opposite Terminals 1 and 2. Buses 44, 33, 15, 11, and 4 from Terminal 1 and bus number 2 from Terminal 2 run to the city centre. Buses depart approximately every 20-30 minutes, and a single ticket costs 2 AED. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Public buses operate between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. and travel from Bur Dubai station, on Al-Ghubaiba road, and Deira bus station. Buses have separate seated sections for women and men, with women typically sitting near the front. Travellers should pay the correct fare to the driver. In older parts of Dubai, small wooden motorboats cross over Dubai Creek between early morning and midnight. Air-conditioned taxis can be pre- booked by telephone or hailed in the street.
