Hotel Description
Welcome to the Indigo, an artful mix of the modern and the traditional all handcrafted amidst some of the most spectacular natural surroundings on earth. Stay a while, enjoy the easy-going vibe, the quiet interiors, the clean lines and soaring ceilings. Take a load off your feet. The Spa in the attic, with massage and saunas, is heavenly. Go ahead, jump into one of the hot tubs on the roof and marvel at the pristine beauty of the Fjord of Última Esperanza all around you. Now this is what you came to Patagonia for. (By the by, dinner is at 7.)

Indigo is a blend of the modern architecture of renowned Chilean architect Sebastián Irarrázaval, and the strong passion for Patagonia of its three owner-operators– Chilean, Spanish and French respectively.

The rooms are distributed around a huge central space, itself divided by an impressive vertical curtain made of eucalyptus. A system of bridges, ramps and staircases allows an intriguingly human circulation within the hotel. The decor of the rooms is cozy and intimate, in contrast to the monumental feeling of the hotel’s living areas, and the rugged natural setting of Patagonia which is visible from everywhere in the hotel.
Luxury Hotel Accommodation
All the creature comforts for relaxing after a day’s trekking in the Patagonian Wilderness. Here is some space that one can control, in contrast to the immensity, ruggedness and inclement weather of the Patagonia.

We have 29 rooms:
- 23 face the Fjord of “Last Hope” and Glacier Balmaceda,
- 5 face the Dorotea Sierra, and the picturesque town of Puerto Natales.
- And one suite, with its own fireplace and hot-tub overlooking the fjord.
Facilities
Dining at Indigo
Mama Rosa is in charge of our restaurant, and she specialises in baking pastries and exquisite home-made meals fresh every day!

Big delicious breakfasts for active travellers

Snacks and French-style pastries available all day

Delicate dishes for winding down at the end of the day

Some favourites include: fresh kingcrab from the fjord (served as it is on a sesame crisp with an avocado emulsion), tasty beef from the nearby local pampa (served in a herb crust, or raw “tartar” style), and lamb (braised with roasted eggplants in a chickpea sauce).

Dinner is at seven– a soft seven.

Spa at Indigo
Located on the top-floor of the hotel, the Spa is a gift for the body and soul.

3 outdoor Jacuzzis, from which one can watch phenomenal sunsets while drinking a glass of fresh Chilean white Sauvignon.

2 massage rooms, with treatments ranging from a simple after-hiking relaxation to a full red algae massage.

1 large sauna: heat, calm, cedar, m-m-m…

+ a great mix of music, large comfortable couches & chairs to relax, a big log-fire, and brooding Patagonia through every window!
