The Castillo De Buen Amor in Salamanca is not a classical hotel but an old castle catalogued as a national monument in 1931. This ancient fortress is built on the live sandstone typical of the Salamanca region. The very first news about the construction of the Castle is coming back until the remote A.D. 1227. This magnificent fortress belonged to the Duke of Alba and has been donated to the Catholic King Ferdinand I and Isabel during the Spain unity war. Later, The Castillo de Buen Amor was sold to the Fonseca family.
