Grapevine, olive, oregano and thyme. La Parra is situated between the plains of Tierra de Barros and the Dehesa forest in Extremadura, a southwest Spanish region bordering Portugal. The Hotel is located in an ancient convent of the Order of Santa Clara. It was built in 1673 and in use by the Clarisas until 1979. After a variety of uses by the municipality, it now opens its doors to the world to be enjoyed. Sound of water, reflection of sunlight, nocturnal silence, whiteness of its walls, groined vaults, stone, wood, iron, terracota, the cloister...A temptation to live its peace and calm. The ground floor houses the reception, kitchen, restaurant, vestry chapel and choir living rooms, as well as a caf� with a terrace. The swimming pool is located in the old orchard. It is visually integrated with the ancient convent walls respecting the essential white colour of the building.

The convent has a total of 21 rooms with en suite bathrooms.
In the old cells in the south wing, divided over two floors are five single and seven double rooms.
On the second floor are two suites and seven double rooms. To extend its offer the hotel organizes various activities in and around the hotel: biking, car or donkey trekking, paragliding, hiking by surprising paths, typical cuisine course, a wine tasting...
