Main House:
Greywalls' 23 bedrooms combine the luxuries of a top hotel with the individual comforts of a well loved family home. Ros Weaver uses fabrics from Nina Campbell, Andrew Martin etc. to complement the family's antique furniture and well loved books, all combining to create a home from home. All rooms have private bathrooms with most having showers over bath. 3 rooms have separate bath tubs and shower stalls. 6 rooms sit outside the main hotel in lodges and gatehouses, all a part of Lutyens original plans. Many rooms overlook Muirfield, while others have views over the walled garden.
Colonel's House:
The Weaver family built this attractive lodge, just beyond Greywalls' gates, in the late 1960s for Colonel Weaver's retirement. For those who enjoy the service of a hotel but long for a little private space and informality it now offers very comfortable, roomy lodging for a single group of eight people.
The house is light and spacious and is furnished to the same high standard as the hotel. It has a charming drawing room with French windows opening on to a private garden and terrace. There is also a small, cosy study where the housekeeper will set out a drinks tray if you wish. The four good-sized bedrooms are comfortably furnished and each has its own bathroom. The housekeeper provides breakfast in the house each morning and a table for dinner at Greywalls is always available if the group wishes to reserve.
