Hotel Description
Ynyshir Hall is set amongst breathtaking scenery in the secret heart of Wales. Surrounded by mountains that were once the refuge of the Celtic princes and graced by Valleys of infinite shades of green, it enjoys a perfect location.

The hotel is fortunate enough to share its Dovey estuary location with one of Britains finest bird reserves. Here Oystercatchers, Curlews, Cormorants, Herons and many other wildfowl and waders live in harmony with the wild habitat of the estuary.

Since the 16th Century the house has been cherished by a succession of eminent owners including Queen Victoria and more recently William Mappin of Mappin & Webb Jewellers. It is now owned by professional artist Rob Reen and his wife, Joan, who with flair and skill have created one of Wales and Britains finest small hotels.
