Luxury Hotel Accommodation
Guests at our mountain resort stay amidst the tall pines in a variety of fully furnished cabins dotted throughout our 15-acre property (click here to view a property map). Our cabins are built to suit your needs, and include private bathrooms, private decks, heat, fans and comfortable furnishings. We strive to provide a relaxed lodging experience with warm hospitality that isn't too 'fussy' or expensive.
Traditional Cabins:
Ideal for couples or individual travelers
Occupancy 2-3 guests
Our Traditional Cabins are comfortably furnished with a queen bed (or two twin beds) and a private bathroom with shower. All cabins are heated and offer CD players, fans and small refrigerators.
Our spacious New Traditional Cabins (built in 2004) are our most popular and feature a sitting area with sofa bed and a private deck facing into nature. Many of these cabins also include charming gas stoves.
Our Original Cabins (renovated in January 2006) are smaller and simpler, with covered front porches and locations near our Main Lodge and plaza. These cabins offer our lowest rates.
One-Bedroom Cottages:
For couples seeking more space/privacy or for small families
Occupancy 2-4 guests
Our new One-Bedroom Cottages (built in 2004) feature a cozy bedroom with queen bed, a comfortable living room with sofa bed, a private deck with views to the woods, a spacious bathroom with shower/tub, overhead fans, heat, a CD player and a small refrigerator.
These standalone cottages are a wonderful upgrade from our Traditional Cabins for couples seeking greater privacy and more space. Small families also enjoy our cottages, as they cost less than most family cabins and allow parents to sleep in a separate room from their kids.
Family Cabins:
Ideal for small or larger families
Occupancy 4-6 guests
Our spacious, new Two-Bedroom Family Cabins (built in 2004) are the most popular choice for families. These cabins feature a bedroom with queen bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, a comfortable living room with sofa bed, a private deck off the living room, a spacious bathroom with shower/tub, overhead fans, heat, a CD player and a small refrigerator.
We also offer several smaller single-room Family Cabins (renovated in January 2006). These charming, knotty-pine paneled cabins feature a queen bed and a bunk bed, a comfortable sitting area, a covered front porch, private bathroom with shower, fans, heat, CD players and small refrigerators.
Custom Camping:
"Custom Camping" is a wonderful, memorable alternative to staying in our cabins. Guests sleep among the big trees in our spacious, mesh topped tents with views to the stars. Guests enjoy all of the fun of ordinary camping without the hassle and discomforts, and they consistently rave about their experience.
Guests arrive to a fully furnished (and fully set up) tent site, including a spacious tent, comfortable air-beds, sleeping bags & liners, pillows, towels, toiletries, camping chairs and a lantern. They enjoy exclusive use of our new bathhouse (built in 2005) and have access to all property facilities, including our restaurant, tavern, Recreation Building and all activities and guided recreation programs.
As part of our effort to create a peaceful environment where guests can enjoy the serenity of the forest, we have kept phones and televisions out of all cabins. However, satellite television is available in the Main Lodge and phones and Internet terminals are available for guest use free of charge in the Recreation Building.
