Rooms in the mansion are steeped in history, while the resort homes are state-of-the-art and have ample room for friends or family. Both feature gracious service, elegantly appointed guest rooms, and views of Vermont's Green Mountains. Comfortable and elegant guestrooms await you! There are ten guestrooms located in the mansion. Each guest rooms is furnished with period pieces as well as modern amenities. An ample supply of plump pillows is sure to guarantee a good night's sleep. Heirloom quality linens in rich tones and intricately designed plaster ceilings are a few of the details that will enchant each guest. Each room has a private bath, cable TV and telephone. Six of the rooms feature decorative fireplaces and three have whirlpool tubs. The mansion is also available for groups who are interested in having a private function.

South and West of Boston (about 3 hours): Take Mass Route 2 West to Route 140 North and then to Route 12 North. Bypass the town of Keene, NH and continue North on Route 12. Cross the Connecticut River at Bellows Falls, VT. At Bellows Falls, take Route 5 North to Route 103 North through Chester, VT and on to Ludlow, VT (watch for a sharp right turn on 103 in Chester). The Castle is on your right hand side at the Junction of 103 and 131 before entering Ludlow.
From New York City or Connecticut: Take 91 North to exit 6 in Vermont. Take a left off the exit onto Route 103 North. Follow Route 103 North for about 16 miles (watch for sharp right turn on 103 in Chester). The Castle is on your right hand side at the Junction of 103 and 131 before entering Ludlow.
Take Route 93 North for about 63 miles to I-89 North. Follow I-89 North until it intersects with I-91 South. Continue on I-91 South until you reach Vermont exit 8 (Ascutney). Take a right off of the exit and follow Route 131 West for approximately 16 miles unitl it end at VT Route 103. Turn right onto 103 and the Castle is the first drive on the right.
