Centerpiece of Rosario is the 1906 Moran Mansion, designed with a unique blend of nautical and Arts and Crafts influences. Guests enjoy frequent access to the mansion, with its music room and live performances. The Moran Mansion houses our restaurant, spa, boutique, lounge, music room, library and museum, along with administrative and management offices, but does not feature any of our guestrooms. Our hillside accommodations are approximately one-half mile from the mansion.

Spread across eight acres of evergreen-covered hillside, Rosario Resort & Spa offers 116 guest rooms and suites, as well as a conference center equipped to delight groups from 20 to 400 with innumerable settings and attentive staff and fine dining at the Mansion Dining Room. All accommodations enjoy views of the pristine Cascade Bay or the lush evergreen forest of Orcas Island, and some rooms also feature such amenities as gas fireplaces, sunken Jacuzzi tubs, and private balconies.

An abundance of activities on Orcas Island and Puget Sound begin at the resort's Avanyu Spa with two pools, a fitness room, a sauna, Jacuzzi, and a host of pampering and rejuvenating spa treatments. Outdoors, Rosario's harbor features a full-service marina, moorings, whale watching charters, and kayak tour guides await.

With enviable views of magnificent East Sound and Cascade Bay on Orcas Island, Rosario Resort & Spa guest rooms are located in two different areas of our forested, 30-acre waterfront property.

Bayside Room - Rosario Resort & Spa
Located a stone's throw from the resort's historic Moran Mansion, the Bayside room features a king bed and sliding-glass doors that open onto a patio or balcony with spectacular views of beautiful East Sound and neighboring islands. Approximately 350 square feet.

Gardenview Room - Rosario Resort & Spa
Located near the resort's historic Moran mansion, the Gardenview Room features two queen beds and a sliding glass door that opens onto a balcony or patio with views of the resort's beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. Rollaways are not available for this room type. Approximately 350 square feet.

Hillside Room - Queen - Rosario Resort & Spa
Nestled in the woods one-half mile from the resort's historic Moran Mansion, the Hillside Queen has two queen beds and a balcony with lovely views of Cascade Bay and nearby islands. Adjoining Hillside Kings and Queens can be connected to create more spacious suites. Approximately 275 square feet.

Hillside Room - King - Rosario Resort & Spa
Nestled among forested hills above the resort, one-half mile from the resort's historic Moran Mansion, the popular Hillside King features a king bed, a sitting area with sofa bed, a gas fireplace and an oversized Jacuzzi tub. Many of the balconies include beautiful views of Cascade Bay, the marina and nearby islands. Hillside Kings can be connected to adjoining Hillside Queens to create two room suites. Approximately 460 square feet. Rollaways are not available for this room type.

Cliffhouse Honeymoon Suite - Rosario Resort & Spa
Perched on the edge of the water near the mansion, the Honeymoon Suite enjoys spectacular views of the bay while maintaining a private, intimate feel. The suite features a vaulted ceiling, four-poster king-size bed, sofa sitting area, gas fireplace, an extra-large jetted tub with windows overlooking the bay, a separate glass-enclosed shower, and a private balcony with sweeping waterfront vistas.

The Roundhouse - Rosario Resort & Spa
Designed and built by Robert Moran, this luxuriously unique waterfront suite overlooks Cascade Bay. Formerly the Moran children's playhouse, this is the only overnight accommodation offered in an original Robert Moran structure. This room features a king-size sleigh bed, separate living room with panoramic waterfront views, gas fireplace, tiled bathroom with a double head shower, and a radiant heated floor. This elegant accommodation is adorned with plush mahogany in classic Pacific Northwest fashion.
