| Hotel Description Centuries ago, youssef Ben Tachfine's conquering army pitched their tents on the Haouz plain..Legend has it they had so many dates among their provisions that, by throwing the stones on the fertile ground, the troops inadvertently created the Marrakesh Palmeraie! A family residence built with love and care in the early 80's, the house has delighted all the friends we have invited there. The house stands in 5-acres grounds in the very heart of the Palmeraie. Palm trees, century-old olive trees, giant carobs… Orange trees, year-round lemon trees, citron and Seville orange trees … Bay-trees, jasmine, hibiscus, roses and bougainvillea … Andalusian pond with water lilies, goldfish and frogs. Summerhouse and fountains make the garden a haven of peace, a corner of paradise where ringdoves and a multitude of other birds have taken up residence. A house with a warm welcome, fashioned by twenty years of good living. Each piece of furniture, each bibelot, each pisture which decorates it has its own story to tell, tales of distant travels and chance encounters. And today, our guests all leave something of themselves behind them. Luxury Hotel Accommodation Guest rooms and suites all face due south. They open onto the garden and the swimming pool. Those upstairs offer a panoramic view of the grounds and the Atlas mountains. Period furniture, orientalist paintings and antique carpets go together to create a warm and exotic ambience. The bathrooms are truly out of the ordinary, with 30's-style fittings, their decor a tasteful blend of zellij, marble and tadellakt. Facilities Traditional hammam or Finnish sauna, lounge where the distant music of lute or harp floats in the background, musk and incense, massages everything to make your stay a soothing and relaxing experience. The staff are plentiful and well-trained, as discreet as they are efficient, ready to fulfil your slightest wish with infinite patience and courtesy. Location In the very heart of the palmeraie, set in a five-acre park, 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Medina is where you'll find a spacious and comfortable house where life is at its finest.
