The Domaine de Rochebois is a beautiful estate located in the heart of the Perigord Noir region, near (4 miles) the delighful village of Sarlat, and overlooking the Dordogne valley. It is comprised of a large 19th century property to which 2 Perigord-style pavilions and a huge park including a 9-hole golf course have been adjoined to form a very elegant, deluxe 40-room hotel.
The decoration is exquisite, with stylish furniture, marble and provencal tile floors and stone walls. All rooms have twin beds that can be pushed together to form a king size bed and are air-conditioned. All of them also come with a private terrace.
The restaurant proposes excellent traditional Cuisine making the most of the local products: truffles and foie gras (goose or duck liver) of course, but also duck steaklet and caviar or sturgeons from the Dordogne river.
Other leisure facilities at the disposal of hotel guests include the swimming-pool, the physical fitness room, and the billiard room.
