Set on one of the island's best beaches, Belle Mare Plage combines the luxury of a seaside resort with championship golf facilities.Sporting facilities include, floodlit tennis courts, 18-hole mini-golf and a gym. In the evenings, dine in style on Mauritian influenced French cuisine at the Citronnelle, overlooking the turquoise lagoon.Belle Mare Plage VillasFor families or friends travelling together, the opulent two and three bedroom villas at Belle Mare Plage offer space, comfort and privacy combined with all the fantastic facilities of the resort on your doorstep.Set between the beautiful sandy beach and the resort's pair of golf courses, each villa has its own private heated pool, sundeck and furnished terrace for private dining. Three have direct access to the beach while the others enjoy the luxury of their own private walled garden.Although the villas have kitchens, these are designed less for self-catering and more for a private chef to come and prepare a gourmet silver-service dinner for you. A villa master is assigned to each villa, so whether you want to enjoy a barbecue with friends on the terrace or cocktails on the pool, everything is taken care of for you. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the varied restaurants at the resort, including the excellent Blue Penny Cafe with its cigar lounge and world class-class wine cellar.Children are especially well catered for at the villas, with a baby-sitting service and activities for 4 to 12 year olds offered at the Coco Club.GolfThe resort's pair of 18-hole golf courses, The Legend and The Links, are of international standard, providing challenges for professionals and amateurs alike. The Legend, designed by South African champion Hugh Baiocchi, flanks one of the finest beaches on the island, with fairways winding through indigenous forest. Green fees are complimentary on this course to all guests staying at the hotel or in the villas. The Links course, designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Alliss is set below the clubhouse; it features a practice fairway and numerous challenges along its scenic holes, including plenty of water hazards. Both provide challenging and scenic play for golfers of all abilities, though if your swing needs improvement, a session at the resort's golf academy may help.

The Belle Mare Plage hotel consists of 235 rooms of different categories which has been designed to suit the needs of our distinguished guests. PRESTIGE ROOMS: JUNIOR SUITES: (68 sq. m) The 137 newly built sea facing Junior Suites are nestled in the north wing of the Resort. Its bedroom with its exclusive decor provides a unique accommodation experience. A private and furnished balcony or terrace will tend to retain you in your suite. Ground floor and first floor inter leading Junior Suites are available as well as 2 Junior Suites that cater for disabled guests. (45 sq. m) Distributed in 3 levels (Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor), the 92 sea facing prestige rooms are located on the south wing of the resort. Each room has access to a private balcony and some directly overlook the swimming pool. Its area provides enough comfortable space to accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Interconnecting prestige rooms are available for families. DELUXE SUITES: (96 sq. m) Our 6 ocean view Deluxe Suites are all located in the south wing. Every Deluxe Suite has a separate living room and has an optional feature of being connected to a Prestige room, which is suitable for families. VILLAS WITH PRIVATE POOL: The villas of Belle Mare Plage The Resort embody a new way of holidaying. The 20 Villas between 375 and 525 sq.m (with two to three bedrooms), evoke feelings of romance and space. With a lounge and outside relaxing areas overlooking your private heated pool, the Villas offer a layout and living space that cannot be equalled. The landscaping surrounding the Villas is enhanced by small lakes, frangipani and coconut groves. PRESIDENTIAL VILLA: This unique Villa comprises of 2 ground floor rooms and one first master bedroom which guarantees complete privacy. With its private pool and spacious veranda, the Presidential Villa offers 525 m2 of living, and exterior exclusive space in a peaceful location far from main hotel building.
