I have just returned from a stay at Gardaland Hotel, with my 2 children. We found this hotel to be really beautiful with a terrific pool area. I booked a quad room and were given one with a small balcony overlooking the fountain and gardens, it was lovely. It is a very peaceful setting with music playing all around the grounds. Although the food was good, I found it to be expensive with the breakfast buffet and evening buffet being the same price : 27 euros per adult and 20 euros per child, certainly a very expensive breakfast. Although I really enjoyed my stay there I would suggest that the hotel is only suitable if you are visiting Gardaland as it is only minutes away, if you are planning to visit other areas of Lake Garda it is not so convenient. It costs 10 euros for a taxi to Peschiera and this is the nearest town, the bus service is very unreliable in the area but the hotel does run a shuttle bus to Gardaland, runs every half hour all day. It is a lovely hotel to come back to after a busy day at the theme park. There are no places to walk to and no restaurants in the area of the hotel, it is in the countryside. I stayed there for 7 nights before moving to Riva Del Garda for a further 7 nights, if the hotel had been in walking distance of the town it would have made my stay better. I found the staff to be helpfull and friendly and if you have small kids then they will love it here.
