“Since the 17th century, the building that today houses the hotel has been the most important in Imón: an enormous stately house with thick stone and brick walls.
Travellers are often amazed by the way that the building has been transformed into a hotel, restoring and reusing already existing elements.
The decoration, surprising because of its classicism and the high quality of its furniture and pieces of art, avoids the excess of country décor often used by country houses of the area.
Choosing a room is like choosing a dream. The Carlos III room, where the king stayed, is a mirror of those times. One can even travel to the Far East in the China room. El Palomar, in one of the two towers, reminds us of the cooing of lovebirds.
