Hotel Description
We are proud to welcome you at Stanley Safari Lodge, the perfect gateway to the mighty Victoria Falls and the exclusive get-away in an African setting.

Set on a hill bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and overlooking unspoilt bush, Stanley Safari Lodge is only 3km from the Victoria Falls. The views are splendid: the spray of the Falls in the distance, the mighty Zambezi river and on top of that yet another beautiful African sunset. From either our main garden, our infinity pool or from the privacy of your room, views are unmatched.

The open-sided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind and has a truly African feel. Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, a 3 course dinner in the dining room or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa.

Our private table set-up ensures you can enjoy your dinner from any place you desire. Just pick a spot: on our upper deck, in our wine cellar, outdoors under the stars or in our infinity pool? Or maybe you would like to have a romantic private dinner in the room? It´s all possible at Stanley Safari Lodge. And our European-style cuisine with an African twist will make sure it will meet your appetite.

The atmosphere at Stanley Safari Lodge is tranquil and intimate, and with only 10 private cottages or suites we are able to give you an unmatched level of entirely personalised service.

Each and every cottage is individually designed. But what makes Stanley Safari Lodge really special is the open design of many of our rooms: the optimal way to experience the real Africa. Just like Stanley must have done centuries ago…And if you really want to indulge yourself, ask for one of our suites with private plunge pool.

So if you are looking for the perfect start of your travels, for the relaxing ending to your safaris, for a nice get-away for a week or for a romantic and exclusive African experience, come and stay with us. We will surely try to make your stay unforgettable.
Luxury Hotel Accommodation

They are all individually designed and with an eye for detail that will make sure you will enjoy your African experience to the utmost. And from every room you are able to see the spray of the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River and the African sunset.

Four of the rooms are suites, each having a private plunge pool with deck or terrace, a lounge area, a bedroom and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. Our Honeymoon Suite and Family Suite are open suites, which enables you to absorb the sights and sounds of the African bush fully. Our Livingstone Suite and Stanley Suite are closed suites with a colonial interior that evoke the elegant era of Stanley and Livingstone.

Our cottages, 6 in total, are all in Safari style built with natural materials. Baobab is a closed cottage, but all other cottages (Birds Room, Zambezi View, Mukuni, Mosi-oa-Tunya and Victoria) have an open structure to enhance to your Zambian experience. Facilities
The range of activities in the Livingstone area (including the Victoria Falls) is enormous. All of these activities do involve, at least to a certain extent, the Victoria Falls or the Zambezi River.

You can see the Falls from across the gorge or from Livingstone Island. Or you can opt for a helicopter flight or microlight to enjoy the Falls from above. Or you might want to go on the river for a sunset cruise, river safari, canoe trip or, for the more adventurous, go rafting on one of the best rafting trips in the world. If you didn’t have enough adventure you can go for a bungee jump, gorge swing or abseil. And for wildlife you can go to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia, Chobe National Park in Botswana or Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Up close and personal you can get during an elephant ride or lion walk. Livingstone has it all!
Location
Situated at only 3km from the Victoria Falls, take the dirt road about 400m away from the Victoria Falls. This dirt road goes towards Mukuni village. About half way to Mukuni village, turn left into our private road.
