Luxury Hotel Accommodation
Woodbridge on the Derwent - Luxury Suites
The Three Bridges at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Sun room, sitting room, bedroom + spa ensuite, queen bed, private exit open fireplace) overlooks the site of the three bridges built one beside the other. The remains of these three bridges can be seen from the river foreshore at the end of Bridge Street. The first in sandstone and wood was built by convicts in 1834 and it is from this 'wood bridge' that the 1825-built residence obtained its name. From $475 pn
The Alloway Banks at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Sitting room, bed room, spa ensuite, king bed, private exit, open fireplace),commemorates the collection of beautiful outbuildings, cottages, barns etcetera, known collectively as Alloway Banks, which were part of the original property. Alloway Banks stood near the roundabout at the junction of Montagu and Blair Streets and, sadly, was demolished when the new bridge was constructed.
The Cottage at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Sitting room, bed room + ensuite with bath, kingbed, private exit, open fireplace), was the coachman's cottage.
The Sarah Schaw at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Tower room + ensuite with bath, queen bed, open fireplace), formerly the nursery, acknowledges the outstanding (and numerous!) contributions of this woman to the story of Woodbridge!
The Academy at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Split level room + ensuite with bath, queen bed, open fireplace) celebrates Woodbridge's time as an educational establishment.
The Arches at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Room + ensuite with shower, king bed, private exit, arched alcoves), is named after its unusual and distinctive architectural feature.
The Captain Roadknight at Woodbridge on the Derwent (Room + ensuite with shower (disabled access), queen bed, open fireplace), Lindley (Room + ensuite with bath, queen bed private exit, open fireplace), and Sharland (Room + ensuite with bath, queen bed, open fireplace) were named for the respective owners of Woodbridge.
