Set close to both Bayeux and the historic landmarks that are the Normandy invasion beaches, Chateau La Cheneviere enjoys a secluded location. The 18th century building is approached by a long tree-lined drive through the English-style garden of mature trees, expansive lawns, and rose gardens heralding from a bygone era.
Whilst it has the dignity of a chateau, the atmosphere is both intimate and informal. There is a 2 hectare walled garden and 12 hectare of parkland beyond emphasising the serenity and seclusion of the estate and the relaxed indulgence that is Chateau La Cheneviere.

Luxury Hotel Accommodation
There are 15 rooms within the original building of Chateau la Cheneveiere.
The former stables have been renovated and now include 7 new, spacious bedrooms a few steps from the main building. (Please note these rooms are not connected to the Chateau but are very close by)
There are 7 new luxury rooms and suites that are located in the area of the former forge that used to house the smithy that looked after the horses. The building has been completely renovated and is linked to the stables but is not linked to the main Chateau. It too is only a few steps away from the main building.
Each room and suite includes a mini bar, dressing gown, slippers, personal safe, and colour television. A select multi lingual library of popular films is available for guests to enjoy.
Each bathroom is equipped with bath or shower as well as selected disabled facilities in certain rooms.
All the rooms in the Stables and the Forge are air-conditioned. Due to the age of the building air-conditioning
is not available in the main Chateau

Location
From Paris , take Motorway A13 to Caen, then Route RN13 towards Cherbourg. In Bayeux, take Route D6 towards Port-en-Bessin. La Chenevière is 1km before the Port-en-Bessin roundabout on the right, at the end of a shaded lane.
