Hotel Description
Welcome to www.merrionhotel.com, a website that we hope will provide plenty of information and inspiration for those keen to experience Dublin's most luxurious five star hotel.

Since opening in 1997, The Merrion Hotel has established itself as the epitome of relaxed grandeur, welcoming Dubliners and visitors to the city with stunningly appointed rooms, crackling turf fires and a host of facilities.

We are delighted to have received many prestigious awards and accolades over recent years and we hope our guests appreciate what we feel is at the cornerstone of our success - excelling in the art of hospitality.
Luxury Hotel Accommodation
The Restoration of The Merrion demanded the highest standards and the designers' brief was both simple and clear - "To create a space with sensitivity to the 18th century heritage of the building, with light and airy bedrooms."

As a result, the 122 guest rooms and 20 suites are the epitome of elegance and also supremely inviting and comfortable.

Classically elegant rooms in the contemporary Garden Wing of The Merrion Hotel overlook the box hedges and lush flowerbeds of the landscaped period Gardens. There are echoes of gracious Georgian style in the authentic design of the fabrics selected for each room and in the exquisite detail of the furniture.

These hints of timeless luxury are complimented by the best in modern living such as crisp Frette linen, unique Irish fabrics and exclusive Kenneth Turner amenities. The opulent Italian marble bathrooms are equally stylish, spacious and excellently appointed.

Behind the doors that line the corridors of The Merrion Hotel, original rooms and suites capture the grandeur of the Georgian era coupled with the finest modern amenities.

Some suites are vaulted with delicate rococo plasterwork ceilings; others are graced with magnificent original marble fireplaces. Stunning flowers, antiques, paintings and object d'art can be found throughout and all enjoy the atmosphere of luxury that Lord Monck extended to his guests over 230 years ago. The epitome of contemporary comfort in stunning, elegant surroundings.
