BEDROOMS
12 double/twins all with private bathroom. 2 are on the ground floor one of which is a four poster bedroom with only a bathroom - no shower and the other a twin. 1 is located in a stable conversion a few moments walk from the hotel.
RECEPTION
2 large rooms both with open fires
No bar and only a restaurant and residential licence.
DINING ROOM
1 large room capable of being split into 2 by a curtain and seating up to 40.
We are not licenced to hold weddings. If a small meeting is held it is never allowed to interfere with the other guests.
The House
Set in 12 acres of mature gardens and paddocks with an ornamental lake and stream.
There are 3 different sizes of bedroom at 3 different rates. The quality is the same in each it is purely the size that dictates the contents of each room.
The rates are per person, per night and include dinner, room, full English breakfast and V.A.T. and are £130.00, £140.00, and £150.00. A £10.00 surcharge is made for single occupancy.
A deposit of £100.00 per room, per night up to a maximum of £500 is required to confirm all overseas bookings, payable by Visa or Mastercard. You can pay this deposit online via our secure server if you wish when your booking is confirmed.
During the year we are happy to offer reductions to guests who are able to stay for longer. This applies on stays of 5 nights or longer for June to September inclusive, 3 nights or longer in May and October and 2 nights or longer from November to April inclusive.
Dinner is served each evening at 8.00pm and is 5 courses on a Saturday night and 4 every other evening. Smart dress preferred. The menu has a choice of 3 at each course and is changed daily to avoid repetition for residents. The style is the best of English Country House with a modern flair.
Hot food is only served in the restaurant. Continental breakfast can be served in the bedrooms and during the day cold snacks may also be served to residents.
