Hotel Description
Run for almost a century by four generations of the Goring family, The Goring is now the oldest, privately owned luxury hotel in London. Today, as the Independent Hotel of the Year 2009, the hotel is a bastion of quality and absolute individuality.

Overlooking its own private gardens, The Goring is lovingly known as London’s quintessentially English hotel and is perfectly placed in Belgravia for all the capital’s premier attractions.

Each of the 71 individually designed bedrooms and suites exude English style, from Traditional Country House to Classic British, while the latest technology is installed throughout.

The Garden Bar and Terrace have always been the ideal destination for sumptuous afternoon teas or rewarding glasses of champagne to toast the day’s success.

The Dining Room and private rooms thrive on their award-winning reputation for delivering the very best traditional English dishes, served with style and flare. All this, served against a sparkling restaurant backdrop designed by Linley.

The Goring is about its guests; over 150 staff work tirelessly to ensure that all of the residents and visitors feel pampered and at home. Personal service and attention to every guest need are the hallmark of this wonderfully unique hotel.
Luxury Hotel Accommodation
The epitome of English style – from Traditional Country House and Classic British, to Contemporary. Every bedroom and suite at The Goring is unique, yet all are spacious, sumptuously decorated and furnished, and laden with delightful, considerate touches. Constant care and attention are given to the interiors; the Dining Room was transformed by David Linley three years ago, the best suites are the work
of Nina Campbell, designer Tim Gosling has worked his magic on the Balcony rooms and the Lounge, Bar and Terrace, and a further six rooms will be embellished by the
Russell Sage Studio using Gainsborough Silks later this year.

Facilities
The Dining Room – the restrained elegance of the David Linley designed Dining Room is home to a menu of superbly cooked British food, using carefully sourced British produce – a much-loved highlight of the London dining scene.
Breakfast is served daily. Lunch is available Sunday to Friday 12:00-2:30 pm and Dinner, including a pre-theatre menu, is offered daily from 6pm to 10:30 pm.

The Lounge Bar: At the heart of a good hotel lies a great bar, and The Garden Bar at The Goring is one of the greatest of them all. A destination in its own right, sumptuously designed by Gosling, offering an extensive cocktail list. Light meals are served throughout the day in the lounge, including the finest of English traditional afternoon teas.

The Goring Gardens: The Lounge Bar has exclusive access to the very private Goring Gardens - a tranquil retreat from the demands of the city, surrounded and protected by the hotel and private houses. A mass of flowers in the summer – perfect for a wonderful summer party.

Private Dining and Meetings: For a grand marquee wedding in the garden, a high level board meeting, or an intimate dinner party for six, The Goring is always the perfect destination, for up to 250 guests.

As London’s only family owned five red star hotel, it’s not surprising that The Goring understands children. From the moment they arrive, with a gift bag on their pillow, a private garden to run in, a visit to the kitchens, filling their Goring Passport, to choosing a story from The Goring Bedtime Story Library, every child will love everything about their stay.

Location: Deep in the heart of London, just next to Buckingham Palace, and within strolling distance of the Royal parks, the best shopping and the West End’s theatres.
